SETDA
The State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) is pleased to release its seventh annual report on the technology section (Enhancing Education Through Technology, Title II, Part D) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) of 1965, as amended by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, herein referred to as Title II-D. This annual report provides a national perspective on Title II-D for federal fiscal year (FY) 2008 (2008-09 school year), as well as emergent trends based on data from the past seven years. Data presented here are based on surveys completed in fall 2009 by state educational technology directors from the 50 states, and reports from the U.S. Department of Education (ED).

New Horizon Report
The New Media Consortium (NMC) released the 2010 Horizon Report: K-12 Edition, the second in an annual series of reports focused on emerging technology use in elementary and secondary education. The report identifies and describes six emerging technologies that will likely have a significant impact on K-12 education in the next one to five years. The six technologies are: cloud computing, collaborative environments, game-based learning, mobiles, augmented reality, and flexible displays.

Educational Technology in U.S. Public Schools: Fall 2008
This First Look report presents data from a fall 2008 Fast Response Survey System (FRSS) survey of public schools on the availability and use of educational technology. This includes information on computer hardware and Internet access, availability of staff to help integrate technology into instruction and provide timely technical support, and perceptions of educational technology issues at the school and district level.
